DESCRIPTION:This year’s Royal Marines Memorial Concert will see the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines return to the Deal Memorial Bandstand on Sunday 9 July with the concert starting at 3pm. \nWe expect to welcome another large audience for this year’s concert and have hired a number of LCD screens\, which will be positioned on Walmer Green. This will give the audience a greater\, clearer view of the concert being performed on the Bandstand. We would like to thank our sponsors and supporters who have provided us with funding to make this possible. \nThe cost of putting on this annual concert is at a great cost to the Deal Memorial Bandstand. We would like to thank you in advance for your generosity – without your donations and purchases\, the concert would not be able to take place. \nFor those wishing to ensure they get the best view on the day\, we recommend you arrive early.

DESCRIPTION:Fresh from performing at the National Armed Forces Day in Falmouth\, the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Plymouth will be returning to The Lyric at Theatre Royal Plymouth with a concert that celebrates Plymouth’s rich heritage with the British armed forces. \nIncluding music from stage and screen\, quintessential military band repertoire\, virtuosic soloists and much more\, not forgetting the world famous Corps of Drums\, the concert will serve to celebrate Plymouth’s connection to HM Forces. \nUnder the direction of Captain Matt Weites\, Director of Music RM Band Plymouth\, this will be a performance for all; from veterans to those still serving to the next generation that will continue to follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before us\, to enjoy a concert from one of the country’s foremost military bands.
