The rank held by the two branch advisors (Corps bandmaster and Corps Drum
Major) and by the Bandmasters of the bands

Warrant Officer 2
The rank held by the assistant Bandmasters, assistant supply officer music
and the chief instructor of the Royal Marines School of Music
