Applications to be considered for musical support from the Royal Marines Band Service

The RMBS operate a rolling programme for the planning of their commitments. All bids for RM Band bookings are to be received by the RMBS Engagement Co-ordinator. These are then acknowledged and placed in our planning system for prioritisation along with all Navy Command commitments. Sponsors are notified of the outcome of their request no later than four months before their event. Early indication may be given in the case of some concerts where venues need to be booked etc. If in doubt please discuss this with the Commitments Co-ordinator HQBSRM.

Requests are still processed within the four month cut-off, but there will be a heightened chance of no band being available.

Requests need to include the following engagement information:

Date & time (inc. any alternative dates)
Location
Requirements* (musical ensemble size/type)
Who or what the event is for
Details of any VIP attendance
Contact address, name & contact number / email / Mobile

*Guidance can be sort from the Commitments Co-ordinator on typical RM Band ensembles.
