Monday 10 March

A quiet day on the Argus today after getting back from RFA Fort Rosalie yesterday. BdCSgt Dave Sharp took an 'arms and abs' circuit in hanger 4 and in the evening we watched 'Signs' in the Junior Rates bar.

Tuesday 11 March

Today Musn Greg Norton took circuit training in the hanger, lots of sprints involved!!
Today was also the day that the Under Secretary of State for Defence, Dr Lewis Moonie MP visited the PCRF, accompanied by Cdre Miller (The General). He spoke to most members of the band and visited all departments. The Cdre enjoyed his visit as he was presented with a CD of 'High on a Hill', which is his favourite.

Wednesday 12 March

This was also another quiet day for the band, although the rest of the ship was busy because the aircraft lift was raised to flight deck level after breaking last week. This meant that the flight deck and the hanger was out of bounds so there was no phys today, never mind!
To brighten up the day though four pallets of mail arrived in the evening and I've never seen so many people arrive for a working party!

Thursday 13 March

Today was the busiest day of the week so far, Cpl Bug Si Chapman took circuits in the morning and the whole afternoon was spent rehearsing new music for a possible concert on Saturday night in the hanger.

Friday 14 March

Two birthdays in the band today, Bug John Lee (28) and Musn Alison Young (25, sorry Ali!)
A really nice present for them both, circuits by Musn Kev 'Phil' Harvey! Everyone was finding it really hard going today so he had to cut it a bit short!!
Straight after that we had a Parade Band rehearsal just in case we are needed to provide a 24 piece band.
The afternoon was spent rehearsing concert band ready for the next day's concert.

Saturday 15 March

In the morning Starboard Watch oversaw the crane lowering stretchers into the hanger in the worse case scenario where both lifts break and casualties have to be moved down into the PCRF.
The concert in the hanger went really well and the audience particularly enjoyed the Dance Band and Shuggie singing. Another highlight was James Parkinson jiving with the Deputy matron Lt Cdr Robson!!

Sunday 16 March

Musn Mike Hearman played Schindler's List and The Gael and the PCRF choir made only its second public appearance and was well received as well.
