Term 1
Welcome to the online diary of troop 2007 displayed here within
their own web pages. Here you will witness the evolution of each
individual from civilian into Royal Marine as the troop undergoes
its training at the Royal Marines School of Music in HM Naval Base,
HMS Nelson, Portsmouth written in their own hand.
Troop 2007 joined the Royal Marines Band Service in Portsmouth at
the Royal Marines School of Music on September 4th 2007. Prior to
commencing their training they were all from different parts of
the country and from different backgrounds. Each of the Musicians
and Buglers within the troop will complete up to three year's training
at the Royal Marines School of Music including initial
basic training and then 8 and 6 terms respectively of intense musical
training.
We, and the troop, hope that you will follow them through their
training. Delight in their achievements, sweat with them during their PT periods as they
develop into fully rounded members of the Royal Marines Band Service.

the terms, meet the troop and meet the RMSoM Staff on the left will
become active.
