Troop 2007 Physical Training Instructor (PT2)

Cpl Kenny Sansby joined the Royal Marines at Commando Training Centre in 1991. Since joining the Corps he has gained operational experience in countries throughout the world and has also served in all three Royal Marines Commando Units, 40, 42 and 45, during his career. He has completed specialised training in Arctic, jungle and desert theatres.

Qualifying as a Physical Training Instructor in 2002 whilst serving at the Commando Training Centre Cpl Sansby has represented the Royal Marines and Royal Navy in both athletics and rugby. In 2005 he visited Korea representing the Royal Navy in a world triathlon competition, finishing in 10th place. Cpl Sansby has a keen interest in ultra-fit competitions where, due to the intense physical and mental demands of the event, he needs to use all of his athletic skills plus intense mental skills to complete the events.

Cpl Sansby has the role of Physical Training Instructor for the RM Band and is Troop 2007's Physical Training Instructor.
