
Musn Felicity Graysmark was 18 years old on joining the Band Service from her hometown of Plymouth. She became interested in music at an early age before learning the violin. As a child she lived in Germany, having moved there when she was 7 with her mother and brother. They returned to the UK in 2000. Once back in Plymouth she attended Eggbuckland Community College and began learning the trumpet also achieving Grade 3 on the violin and Grade 5 theory.
Felicity has a brother, who is currently serving in the RAF as an Officer Engineer, and a sister, who works as a finance manager. She joined the Royal Marines on clarinet and viola. Before joining she used to play for many wind bands and Soundhouse Brass Band. She joined the Royal Marines Band Service because she wanted see the world.
