 Musn Bowditch was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands, in 1988 and lived there, prior to joining the Royal Marines Band Service, with his mother, brother and sister. He attended the Grammar School, Guernsey where he gained 11 GCSEs and four A Levels in Maths, Music, Physics and D & T.
He started learning the trombone at the age of 11 and began playing in local orchestras, wind bands, brass bands and jazz bands. He took up the euphonium as a second instrument and played that in the local brass band, at the age of 16.
Other than music Musn Bowditch likes to go to the gym, do some road running and when time permits he also likes to go swimming.
