This week began, as do all other weeks with a session of physical training for
the 2 lower terms as the senior term was doing their Pre-Joining training. A
fairly normal day followed really, nothing out of the ordinary. Monday evening
was spent cleaning the accommodation for rounds on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday began with the final preparations for rounds that day and fall
in at 0815 started the day officially. The term one class had aural at 0930
and the rest of us began our daily practice in our sells. Lunchtime came and
went and an afternoon of elements followed. We all returned to work at 1830
for a concert band rehearsal.
Wednesday started at 0800 with the first session of Parade Band of the
day. Wednesday afternoon was RT. Today we played team games in the Gym.
Thursday commenced with PT and then it was off to the school for a normal
day practising. This was my busy day as I had both my violin and sax lessons.
Thursday evening was spent rehearsing concert band for a concert coming up next
week.
Friday morning and as with most Friday mornings... Parade Band. It was
then off to our cells for a day of practice. We had an orchestra rehearsal for
the last hour of the day. This was the first time that I had played in the orchestra.
