Monday
"Parade, Parade …Shun". Yes it was that time again, OC's Parade
practice. After marching up and down for a while we went back to work, so that
we could practice in our own cells. After finishing work we had to go back to
the mess and give it a good clean for rounds the next day.
Tuesday
0700 the alarm went off so I quickly got up, showered and dressed and had
some breakfast. It was OC's Parade practice again, it all went fine for the
band, and so we went back to our cells to practice.
Rounds weren't quite up to scratch so we had to do it again the next day and
the next. We also had to do all our ceremonial kit for OC's Parade the next
day.
Wednesday
After getting up at around 0600 I went to breakfast and then got ready for
OC's Parade. I was in the band for this so we were in full ceremonial dress.
The next few hours were spent practising. Then in the afternoon the whole school
went paint balling for the afternoon which the PT staff and myself organised.
The better team won in the end, it was 3-1, sorry blues.
Thursday
The alarm woke us at 0630 ready for another set of rounds in the block. After
cleaning up the mess we all went to the gym for some PT. We then started work
at about 0850 and practised in our cells until 1620. We then went on long weekend
until Tuesday morning.
