Musn Gray 3 - 9 June 2002

Monday

Today I had a lie in till about mid-day because we were on our long weekend for this term. So after watching 2 football matches I decided to get up. Then in the evening I went to the cinema and saw 40 days and 40 nights, it's a really good film. I would recommend it to anyone.

Tuesday

Again today I had another lie-in watching the football and then for the rest of the day not much really happened.

Wednesday

This morning I couldn't have a lie-in because at 10 o'clock I had a driving lesson which went OK and didn't stall too many times. In the afternoon I started packing my bag to get ready for going back to Portsmouth to start work the folowing morning.

Thursday

Today was a nice early start, starting at 0730 in the gym where we met Sgt Griffin to do a period of PT. After PT a group of us went to Higher Training where the Bandmasters Course is taking place. In the afternoon there was a lecture on grades and diplomas and their work and what we would have to do to get them.

Friday

There was a Parade Band gig today; Divisions at HMS Sultan. When we got there it was raining so they moved the parade indoors and only needed a 24 piece Band, which meant half the band that went just had to sit around and wait till it had finished. This afternoon England were playing Argentina in the World Cup, so there was a big screen set up and we all watched the match, but if you had a prof lesson you had to go to that.

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday morning I had to work because I'm still in Term 2 and haven't passed my T3 exams yet. After we had finished work the rest of the weekend was ours. I was supposed to have a driving lesson, but my instructor didn't turn up for some reason.
