Mon

Monday morning began with PT at 0730, no different from any other week, it may seem but the senior term were still recovering from Christmas Leave and Military Training.
The day continued in the usual format but with the uncertainty of MFM, there was quite a 'hum in the air' amongst Training Company, with excitement looming.

Tues

Rounds as usual but with Training Coy being 'full to the brim' a rejig of jobs was apparent by the unusually high standards.
Tuesday evening rehearsal consisted mainly of a recap of repertoire in preparation for forthcoming gigs, with a busy period just around the corner, Training Coy awaits in anticipation.

Weds

A very cold Parade Band! mainly practising drill to 'break' the Term 1s in gently. With fingers and thumbs frozen, the band rehearsed dressing and covering (and how to keep the feeling in their feet).
Weds afternoon RT, students were participating in their own sports as well as the pre-arranged. A combination of squash, swimming, tennis and netball kept the 'Wing' busy.

Thurs

There is nothing like a good 'camp circuit' to warm you up in the morning! Ready for the realisation of our part in MFM, a mixture of nerves and excitement encircled the Wing. An experience never open to Trainees before, had been made available.
Evening rehearsal as on Tuesday consisted of finishing touches and familiarity.

Friday

Another cold one! The band marched on however and braving the weather we made 'frosty' music on the Victory Arena.
Weekend to look forward to now. Hooray!
