Monday
This is the week leading up to my final exams for B3. The exams I am studying
for are Aural, Elements, B3 Drumming and B3 Bugle and Trumpet in which I have
already done my Bugle and Trumpet.
Tuesday
Still studying for B3. The pieces that I will be performing on drum are study
No 8 from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Grades 7-8 and
Caika March from the Guildhall School of Music Grades 6-8, Caika means Brazilian
snare drum and it is in a samba feel and I really enjoy this piece.

Wednesday
Parade Band in the morning is rained off so in the Concert Hall for a musical
rehearsal which went well. The Parade Band pieces for Open Day are going great
especially Olympic Spirit, also one of the drum statics which is called Apollo
will have its first showing at Open Day and was written by myself and Bug Lowe
so this is going to mean a lot to us. Can't wait!
Thursday
Probably my last PT session at the School and it was a good one as we went for
a run and also said hello to the fish whilst taking a detour via the sea! but
it did wake us up a bit. Repertoire for B3 is going OK and I get my list of
10 marches to perform tomorrow for my B3. Looking forward to this.

Friday
Have received my marches and it is going to be a long weekend but it will be
worth it. Everything is up and running for my B3 and fingers crossed it will
be Ok. So until next time, it's goodbye from me and the CODs at the School.
Goodbye Training Coy!
