Monday
No PT this morning! What a pleasant start we had to the week. Private practice awaited us when we arrived at work. A small group of us had an interesting session of piano conductors. After lunch, Musn's Woolley and O'Brien performed their M3 recital pieces - congratulations, they were of a very high standard. We prepared for rounds in the evening as Training Company ironed their sheets and cleaned the accommodation.

Tuesday
We had our usual fall in and into work to practice. After stand easy we had a Big Band rehearsal for Open Day with Mr Lusher. More practice for the remainder and in the evening there was an orchestra rehearsal.
Wednesday
08.00 and we were in the concert hall for a musical Parade Band rehearsal. We spent an hour playing Olympic Spirit adding dynamics to make it more musical. After stand easy Mr Martin took a jazz class which is always good fun. At 1300 Training Company mustered on a very hot parade square to learn the drill for Olympic Spirit. Needless to say, it was nice to get in the shower afterwards.
Thursday
Thursday saw practice all day apart from some more M3 recitals after lunch. Well done to Musns S Hairsine and Coupland. In the evening we did a Beat Retreat on board HMS Fearless. It became a bit darker than we would have liked but everything went well.
Friday... Come on England!
We were able to watch the match and it was a rather disappointed Training Coy
who returned to work. Better luck next time I guess.
Only 5 weeks to go until Open Day and summer leave. My term have to do our T5
exams so good luck and also good luck to the higher term in their M3 exams and
recitals.
