This week was generally a normal week with Italy in the mist.
Preparation for Italy was going well, not as well as I would have liked it,
but with a couple more rehearsals it was going to be great.
During this week we also did an open air concert at HMS Excellent which I really
enjoyed because it wasn't a normal everyday sit down and watch concert, it was
a sit down, enjoy your picnic and have a good evening.. The band were set-up
in a small stage with a cover over the top and the audience were about 20 metres
away. Training for the Buglers is going OK. The auditions for next years troop
have started, from what I can see they seem like a nice bunch.
Training Company are looking forward to Italy and personally I think that we
are lucky to have a gig like this one, well it beats a HMS Warrior concert,
although as they say no gig is more important than the next.
Bring on Italy.
